Mark your calendars for Monday, October 1st, 2018 for the seventh HeartGift Heroes Golf Tournament. Our event this year will be held at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans. We hope you will join us for this 18-hole tournament as we celebrate the 51st life saved through HeartGift in Louisiana.
HeartGift provides a team of highly specialized doctors and an army of volunteers who work together to coordinate care for critically ill children with heart defects whose own countries lack the resources they need. We are fortunate that our country’s children receive this care regardless of income. However, in most of the world children born with heart defects have no access to care.
The physicians who serve on the HeartGift team donate 100% of their time, and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans generously provides services for each child at a small fraction of the true cost of care. The funds raised through the HeartGift Heroes Golf Event will underwrite the necessary medical expenses for these young children from around the world.
Please join us as a sponsor and/or player at this fun-filled event in support of HeartGift. The day begins with registration and lunch. Teams of four will tee off at 12:00 pm in a scramble format. The afternoon will end with a cocktail party for players and their guests. This packet contains the information you need regarding sponsorship levels and registering your team’s players. HeartGift is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law.
HeartGift is filling a very real concrete and unmet need around the world. Children from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Kenya, Haiti and so many other underserved countries have the opportunity to receive lifesaving surgery because of your gift.
